She has a reputation for developing creative solutions to manage today's most challenging financial issues, such as housing, economic development, advance refunding, sales and/or special tax-backed financings and enterprise management. In over 25 years of experience as an advisor to the public sector, she has served as manager on hundreds of financing assignments that involved both taxable and tax-exempt obligatory transactions. Ms. Aho is the immediate past president of the National Association of Independent Public Finance Advisors. She is a Certified Independent Public Finance Advisor and successfully sat for Series 7 and Series 66. Ms. Aho also attended the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and securities-related programs at the Practicing Law Institute.
Consultant bioCharles R. Langhoff, Senior Vice President, directs Springsted Investment Advisors, as wholly-owned subsidiary of Springsted Incorporated. Mr. Langhoff offers a full range of investment services, including forming policy, analyzing cash flow, and evaluating portfolios and performance. He serves on client cash management committees to advise and opine on specific investments and overall portfolio management. Prior to his work in the investment advisory industry, Mr. Langhoff served as controller and vice president of finance for Vail Associates, which manages ski resorts in the Town of Vail and Beaver Creek Village, Colorado. He has been involved with investing public funds since 1986. Mr. Langhoff was president of Managed Financial Services, Inc., and a president and principal of Langhoff Brooks. He has a master's in business administration from the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts.
